Middle Georgia is pleased to announce our partnership with Career Smart, one of

excellence through both advancing and serving the profession, which makes them

as the leading independent, internationally recognized certifying body for the
Human Resources Profession, the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI)
requires professionals to demonstrate their expertise in the core principles of
HR practice. SHRM Middle Georgia
highly encourages its members to seek professional certification through HRCI to
further demonstrate their expertise while both serving and advancing the
profession.
In support
of the chapter's tradition of excellence, we are pleased to announce the Career
Smart HR Excellence Award, which will provide a $300 scholarship to a member
that best demonstrates their commitment to excellence in advancing and serving
the HR profession through certification. For information on how to prepare and

Eligibility:
-
Applicants
must be current SHRM Middle Georgia members.

Applicants
must have attended at least 75% of the chapter's monthly meetings
(January-August).

Applicants must be
seeking PHR, SPHR or GPHR certification through the Human Resources
Certification Institute to qualify for consideration.

Applications must be submitted to me or
to Randy England by August 31, 2007

SHRM Board will vote on applications at
September 11, 2007 Board Meeting

Winning name(s) will be announced at
September 25, 2007 general meeting

Deadline to submit application and fee
to HRCI is October 12,2007
-
Exam window for PHR/SPHR is December 1,
2007 through January 31, 2008
